The dining room sits on West 77th Street, a short walk from Lincoln Center and Central Park. Chef Christophe Bellanca cooks contemporary French, built on classic technique with subtle global influence. Before opening Essential in 2022, he led L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon New York, which held two MICHELIN Stars under his direction.

Dinner is served as a three or four course prix fixe, or as a seven course tasting menu. Wine and non alcoholic pairings are offered with each. À la carte is available at the bar. A private dining room designed by Caroline Egasse seats up to 20 guests.
